NAIFA – Chattanooga host first golf tournament to benefit Hosanna Community
NAIFA – Chattanooga hosted its first golf tournament Thursday, May 20, at Windstone
Golf Club. The day’s events included lunch, dinner, goody bags, contests, a
variety of door prizes and an awards ceremony.
“We selected Hosanna Community as our community service project of the year,”
said Lori Smith, NAIFA community chair. “We are honored to be able to support
such a worthy cause.”
The event was a huge success, raising more than $5,000 for the Hosanna Community.
It was a big undertaking to pull it off without a hitch, but they did it. The
golf tournament committee consisted of Mark Berryman, Diane Human, Lori Smith
and Fred White from the NAIFA board and Leigh Anne Bentley, Bob Crates, Danny
Curvin, and Jean Richardson from the Hosanna Community board.
The residents of Hosanna Community served as volunteers the day of the tournament.
Members and volunteers from both organizations helped find sponsors, sign up
teams, find door prizes, and gather goody bag items to make the event a success.
Thank you to all who participated.
A special thank you goes to NAIFA –Chattanooga for choosing Hosanna Community
for its outreach project. The time and energy put forth to help raise money
for Hosanna Community is much appreciated and will not be forgotten. It is organizations
like them, foundations, and individual donors that make a home like Hosanna
Community possible.
